King Menus is now KNG International
From 1968 to 1995 King Menus designed and printed menus for restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area. Many of our customers were large chains. We saw ourselves as a customer service company with printing presses.
Menu Covers grew in importance to our customers. To give our customers better prices and better service, in 1996 we began manufacturing menu covers in Idaho.
Because of our quality, our
150% low price guarantee, and our 90 day trial, King Menus grew rapidly. In 1998 we began manufacturing aprons. In 1999 we added Chef Coats to our line. The company grew 36% a year during those years.
We now have over 100,000 customers. To be competitive in the textile business we were forced to move some of our manufacturing to Asia. Because of a joint venture in China and being in control of product development and quality at all of the other plants we use to manufacture our products in Asia, we have been able to continue our mission - - continual improvement in quality and service.

KNG continues to grow between 30% and 40% a year. In 2003 we bought 27 acres near Boise Idaho to build a production and shipping facility to give the best service possible to our customers. The first 60,000 square foot building was completed in 2004. In 2006, as planned, we're expanding the facility. In 2006 we changed our name from King Menus to KNG to better describe what we do in the new world economy.
